La maggior parte delle collane ha una lunghezza compresa tra 42 e 60 cm.
Una collana con lunghezza di 42 cm poggerà il suo elemento centrale circa sulla linea delle clavicole.
Una collana con lunghezza di 60 cm poggerà al centro del decoltè.
Collane lunghe fino a 80 o 90 cm arriveranno fino a poco al di sopra dell’ombelico.
